The Maternity Center at UMass Memorial is a tertiary level academic service that serves as the
referral center for Central Massachusetts.  With approximately 4,500 births annually, we are
undergoing a major renovation that includes an additional newborn nursery and remodeling of our
patient rooms. As part of this exciting change, we are increasing our staff and management
support to better serve our patients.  We are also enhancing staff education structures and
redefining our care delivery model.   

 

We are proud of our dedicated and talented nursing staff and the collegial relationship we
share with our medical staff.  Our patient satisfaction is excellent and we are committed to
making it even better.   

 

 Responsibilities:

Serves as a consultant, educator, and researcher in the neonatal intensive care setting.
Establishes goals and priorities in accordance with patient and staff needs and organizational
objectives.  Utilizes current research findings to support and improve nursing practice.  

Requires MSN and current MA licensure.
