MTS Software Engineer I     Contract 12 Months $65-85/hr

 

Performs software design, integration and test based on requirements derived from the system
level requirements as allocated to software. Develops software for use in embedded real-time
systems. Capable of providing technical guidance to a group of software engineers developing
one or more CSCI's. Performs software development activities in accordance with SEI Capability
Maturity Model based divisional processes and procedures. 

 

Must have specific expertise in one or more of the following areas: software system
architectures, operating systems, real-time embedded applications, military software systems,
software/hardware integration. Leads development of embedded applications such as: fire
control, command and control, user interface, automotive, and diagnostics. Capable of using
CASE tools for design, documentation, integration and test.

 

Experience in software development using a higher order language such as Ada, C++ or C.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer or Electrical Engineering and 9 years
experience; Master's Degree in CS, EE, CE and 7 years experience, or Ph.D and 2 years
experience.
