My client has a very interesting and challenging opportunity for the right executive.  This
non-profit, historical museum is seeking a motivated and talented individual to put things in
order, and grow the organization. 

 

The client is a non-profit museum, located in eastern, MA, which displays historic artifacts
with significant personal meaning to thousands nationwide.  The four-part mission of the client
is:

1.                  Memorial to State Veterans

2.                  Museum of Historic Artifacts

3.                  Education

4.                  Fund Raising

 

Seeking a true business professional to assume the Executive Director position of this
4M-dollar organization.  The Director will be the senior manager on a staff that has
operational control over the four identified areas of management.

 

Responsibilities:  Manage from 4 to 6 direct reports while in the performance of their
positions; Interact with the Board of Directors as the senior operational staff member; be
sensitive to the �investors�(state Veterans) of the corporation; and provide forward thinking
leadership; maintain business relations with the local, state, and federal political
delegations.

 

Requires:  BS Degree in business; 15-20 years of management experience, with that experience
preferably in the non-profit sector; Museum experience and Military experience is a plus
