Job Requirements/Qualifications: 

We are currently seeking a �Hands-on� Facilities Engineer to oversee the facilities services
for our customer facility located in the Boston area. The successful candidate must possess
prior maintenance experience in a supervisory or managerial capacity, as well as perform the
following essential job functions: 

�Oversee the efficient operation and maintenance of the physical plant and of all building
systems including the day to day supervision and training of the operations staff. 
�Maintain facilities equipment and ascertain corrective actions as required.
�Manage departmental staff, including selection, scheduling and job assignments; counseling,
appraisals and recognition; recommending salary, promotional, disciplinary, termination and
other personnel actions. 
�Perform and oversee repair and PM activities of HVAC, Life Safety, DDC, Fire Alarm and all
other building systems.
�Monitor all utilities and recommend opportunities for savings.
�Ensure all subcontracted services are performed as per agreements.
�Respond to client service requests. Demonstrate outstanding customer service in interactions
with building management and tenants.
�Maintain and perform equipment and supply inventory control.
�Conduct weekly staff meetings and attend other meetings as required.
�Assist and complete projects as assigned by the Property Manager.

Desirable Job Qualifications:

�Must have 3-5 years of managerial experience in a union environment. 
�Excellent interpersonal and communication skills. 
�Good customer service skills and excellent leadership abilities. 
�Must be computer literate.
