Works closely with members of a multi-disciplinary, pediatric diabetes team to provide
developmentally appropriate activities and education for pediatric patients, as well as family
support and staff education services.  Coordinate pediatric appointments and participate in
special pediatric projects such as community outreach to pediatric health care centers.
Requires: Bachelor�s Degree and certification as Child Life Specialist (CCLS.)  Master�s degree
preferred. Experience in a Pediatric Clinical setting and previous work with families and a
multidisciplinary health care team. Experience in diabetes preferred, but not necessary.
