Job Description    
CSN Stores is looking to grow our technology team. We want to bring on board a talented
individual who has experience in software engineering with Internet technologies, e-commerce
systems and Microsoft Technology. 

 

CSN Stores is a fast growing company that operates niche e-commerce sites. We currently have 24
online stores, in categories including AV furniture (tv stands, cd storage), Mounts (Plasma
Mounts, Projection Screens), Outdoor Furniture (teak, wicker), and other new categories added
monthly. The person we bring into this position will help build and improve the software that
runs and manages these stores. We are a profitable company that is looking to grow by adding
smart, energetic people to the team.

Qualifications: 


7-10 years experience with complex Internet based software systems 
BS degree in Computer Science, Mathematics or Engineering from a 4 year college or university 
3-5 years experience with Microsoft Active Server Pages (ASP or ASP.NET), Visual Basic (VB) and
MS IIS 
Expertise with SQL and Microsoft SQL Server 2000 
Experience coding web applications that interact heavily with a database 
A high degree of technical aptitude and troubleshooting skill. 
Advanced knowledge of HTML 
Comfortable with web GUI design relying on minimal client side technology 
Knowledge of PC desktops and Windows 2000 and XP operating systems 
Ability to interpret business needs into elegant software solutions 
Experience architecting and leading development projects 
Expertise with TCP/IP and Ethernet networks 
 

Responsibilities: 


Designing and building web based ecommerce applications integrated with our current systems 
Working with several large SQL Databases 
Developing software to stream-line backend workflow 
Understanding our business and making appropriate technology decisions 
Architecting robust and elegant software 
Perform all other related duties as assigned by manager
