Project Manager

DefenseWeb Technologies is currently seeking a detail-oriented Project Manager to manage
multiple web software development projects for DoD clients.  The selected candidate will be
responsible for ensuring the overall success of projects, from the initial request to the
project�s completion.  

Responsibilities

Independently manage multiple web software development projects with revenue values of $500k to
$4M. 
Motivate and lead 3 to 5 person project teams to ensure that all systems are developed on time,
within budget, and beyond client expectations. 
Actively listen to identify clients� active needs while uncovering their latent needs, document
the project, and directly �translate� the key deliverables. 
Develop the project concept and plan, facilitating project meetings, tracking, analysis,
adherence to quality standards and budget, manage internal and external resources, review of
project deliverables, change control, and status reporting.  
Provide single point-of-contact support for all parties�clients, management, and project
staff�throughout the entire project.  
 

Qualifications

Minimum of four (4) years of experience in project management, with at least 2 years in
web-based software development projects. Experience w/ DoD health and family programs a big
plus. 
Must have a basic understanding of system architecture, Internet applications, software
architecture, Web services, Microsoft .NET, and Microsoft ASP so you can speak intelligently
and effectively to both clients and developers.  
Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Microsoft Project, Microsoft Visio. 
 

Education
     Bachelor�s in Business, Computer Science, Engineering or a related field.  PMI
certification a plus.
