Quality-oriented building envelope consulting firm in Seattle is seeking an Architect 
experienced and/or interested in building envelope design and technology.  Washington licensed
required, California and Alaska licenses preferred but not necessary.  Candidate should be
motivated, diligent, and conscientious, who desires to apply his/her skills and abilities to a
broad base of nationwide clients.  Those interested in, or with an affinity for the technical
and practical aspects of building envelope design and construction would be a good fit for this
position.  Some experience with construction administration/building exterior practice a plus.


Position entails reviewing technical designs, reviewing and preparing specifications and
drawings, participating in field construction forensic investigations and surveys, providing
project coordination, and preparing evaluation and inspection reports.  Ability to serve as
expert witness for litigation and review laboratory tests a plus.  Position requires regular
collaboration with staff technologists from roofing, waterproofing, and cladding sections to
work on both new construction and retrofit projects.  Must have good written and verbal
communication skills, and proficiency in a variety of common software applications. Excellent
