M.A. Mortenson Company is currently seeking highly experienced, top notch commercial
construction Superintendents with a minimum of 10 years commercial construction experience and
a minimum of 6 years of supervisory experience. Qualified applicants for the Senior
Superintendent position must have a minimum of 4 years of supervisory experience in healthcare
environments with contract values of $50 million or above. 

PRIMARY DUTIES:
The responsibility of this position is to coordinate, plan, and supervise assistant
superintendents, contractors and/or craft activities in a particular discipline area. Your team
will include other Mortenson superintendents and project managers. Specific duties include
maintaining liaison with other functions to insure all required materials, equipment and
inspections support the project schedule, coordinating plans and specifications with field
design engineers, clarifying discrepancies. This team member is responsible for project safety.
You will enhance customer relationships through providing excellent service.

The Senior Superintendent position prefers/not required a 4-year degree in Engineering or
Construction Management, 8 years commercial construction experience and a minimum of 4 years
supervisory experience in commercial construction environments with contract values of $20
million or above. Computer scheduling experience required. Experience with Primavera preferred
(Expedition, P3, SureTrak).
