PROGRAM COUNSELOR
 
Catholic Charities El Centro Del Cardenal seeks a Boston Public School Program Counselor to
support the students by implementing and overseeing the intake and assessment processes of
program participants. The Counselor will maintain communication with students providing
on-going assessment, intervention, and referral to students� needs and will be responsible for
the record keeping system for students and program, maintaining documentation of interactions
between students, as well as any outreach, information gathering or action taken on their
behalf.
 

Qualifications:
 
Must be bilingual Spanish/English

Excellent verbal and written communication skills

Sensitivity and awareness of Hispanic culture and issues
Familiarity with issues related to education
Minimum of Bachelor�s degree in Psychology, Education, or Sociology
Ability to work with people of all ethnic, cultural, social, and economic backgrounds
