Manage and coordinate the activities of the engineering group; responsible for the mechanical
designs for Spire Solar automated manufacturing and test equipment.  Responsible for the
coordination of mechanical engineering quality, reliability, budget, and timeliness of
projects; design and specify/recommend mechanical components for use in Spire Solar equipment;
generate and maintain mechanical design documents, including detail and assembly drawings,
BOMs, facilities specification drawings and fluid flow (pneumatics and hydraulics) diagrams;
analyze existing products for mechanical design improvements to enhance reliability, reduce
maintenance and repair time, and reduce costs.  Support manufacturing personnel on mechanical
design issues; provide troubleshooting to Customer Satisfaction team and customers as needed.
