Reporting to the Senior Director of Analytical Sciences, responsibilities include bench work as
well as supervision of junior members of the department, ability and willingness to monitor
laboratories where method development, validation and testing have been outsourced, creating
and reviewing documents, including technical reports, SOPs, method validation protocols and
reports and method transfer protocols and reports with a major responsibility.
Qualifications include a BS or MS in appropriate scientific discipline and 6+ years work
experience or Ph.D. in appropriate scientific discipline and 3+ years work experience.
Experience in analytical techniques such as HPLC, SDS-PAGE, IEF, ELISA, protein sequencing,
peptide mapping is required; working experience in Analytical Development in a pharmaceutical
industry and mass spectrometry preferred.
