Job Description:
This position reports directly to the President and has responsibility for all aspects of
performance of the contract overseeing the chemical and biological defense organization,
including medical science and non-medical science departments. This position serves as the
central point of contact for the Government client for the performance of all work under the
contract. Responsible for the management and coordination of day-to-day activities, including
business administration and implementation of process and product improvement initiatives.
Prepares annual budgets for operational activities and monitors cost, schedule, and technical
performance across the organization.  Serves as primary interface with the Government for all
contract activities � ensuring that mission objectives are accomplished successfully.  Assists
in developing vision, goals, and objectives and coordinating and integrating them with respect
to the contract.  Responsible for performance of entire team, including subcontractors, to
ensure their support of contract and mission requirements. Responsible for identifying and
applying company resources.  Establishes and maintains technical interfaces with recognized
experts in technologies pertinent to chemical and biological defense programs.

 

Master�s degree with at least thirteen years experience (or BS plus two additional years of
relevant experience) in the leadership of technical and scientific programs in the areas of
chemical, biological, radiological, and /or nuclear weapon systems. Must also have experience
in business administration/project management.  Must have worked in an operational environment,
preferably in the DOD. Experience as an independent field manager/project manager is highly
desired.  Experience planning, coordinating, integrating, implementing, and evaluating R&D
programs required.  Must have demonstrated outstanding communication and leadership skills with
both customer and internal organizations.
