Chemist Group Leader responsibilities may include, but are not limited to the following: Lead a
group performing a large variety of analytical tasks associated with method development and
validation for the analysis of Pharmaceutical drug products and raw materials; ability to
perform different types of procedures commonly used including HPLC, GC, Dissolution, and UV ;
work independently and educate self in new instrumentation through manuals and related
literature; document work clearly and perform tests accurately in accordance with cGMP
requirements; lead team of analysts in accordance with vision, values, and strategic goals of
company; perform project management duties assuring regulatory compliance of group; and
maintain client communications.
