*Manage your team�s performance (3 other chemists), coach, counsel, train, and discipline

*Initiate and manage change control processes, review and approve QC documentation

*Evaluating capacity and utilization of personnel and equipment

*Maintain GMP & SOP compliance of laboratory.

*Performance of environmental duties to insure passing inspections

*Maintain proper inventory

*Be fully experienced with following instruments and testing methods: FT-NIR, HPLC method
development and testing; AA; Enzyme (proteolytic activity) determination with isoelectric
focusing and etc.   

*Support R&D activities (validation of analytical methods for new formulations and products.

*Report writing and communication of laboratory activity to upper management

*Participate in meetings with new and current clients, FDA and other regulatory agencies.

* Working knowledge of dry granulation, solid dosage formulas and dosage delivery systems.
