a) Developing initial conceptual and layout drawings from specifications, sketches, and from
project manager assignments.

b) Preparing detailed electrical assembly drawings, subassembly drawings and bills of material
on the computer using Autocad.  Typical drawing sets include:

-  Point-to-point wiring diagrams

      -  Wiring schematics

      -  Logic diagrams

      -  One line diagrams

      -  Ladder diagrams

      -  Loop diagrams

c) Providing design solutions, utilizing established engineering practices, work procedures and
industry standards. 

d) Responsible for the development and documentation of concepts and designs of complex
electro-mechanical products and packaging of radiation monitoring systems (component level
through skids & panels).

e) Perform moderately & complex design assignments requiring common sense, logic, 

      creativity, and applied electro-technical knowledge.

f) Analyze designs and make recommendations for changes or modifications

g) Assist in coordinating project activities with Purchasing, Industrial Engineering,
Technicians, Production, and Quality Control Departments.

h) Investigate, modify and certify �As-Built� drawings.

i) Assist in properly maintaining records, engineering drawings and data bases.

j) Must be willing to devote extra effort/time when needed to complete the project or daily
assignments
