Job Description:
Exa Corporation is seeking a well qualified Human Resources Generalist.  The successful
candidate in this role will be responsible for providing support to the human resources
department, first line supervisors and employees.  Key responsibilities include but are not
limited to employee relations, benefits administration, HRIS and payroll maintenance, and other
HR related projects.  This position will be located at our Global Headquarters in Burlington,
MA.

 

Role & Responsibilities:

 

�         Ongoing maintenance of the Payroll/HRIS system

�         Benefits Administration, including new hire and terms, claims issues and COBRA 

�         Maintain employee personnel files, perform regular audits of the employee files (I9,
HIPPA)

�         Assist with new hire orientations

�         Various HR Department related projects

 

The successful candidate will be customer-focused, responsive, and able to develop a strong
level of trust with employees, while adding value to the Exa employee experience.  Exa is a

Requirements/Skills/Qualifications:

 

�         BS degree or equivalent.

�         5-7 years experience as a human resource generalist.

�         Understanding of Payroll/HRIS and Applicant Tracking Systems functionality.  Paychex
is a plus. 

�         Strong interpersonal and organizational skills.

�         MS Office skills.
