Electronic Technician Positions Available Immediately
A Rochester, New York based, high technology company is currently sourcing qualified candidates
to fill multiple long-term contract Electronic Test Technician positions. Supports production
department by testing, calibrating, and troubleshooting production units as well as test
equipment. Profit and quality are dependent on accurate testing and operational equipment.
Opportunities are all Monday through Friday. Five straight A shift and two straight B shift
opportunities available.
POSITION DUTIES/ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
q Troubleshoots and repairs electronic products (a wide range) analog and digital
manufacturing and test equipment and calibrates and adjusts same product electrical devices and
electronic circuits
q Performs testing of assembled units and modules
q Performs necessary work relative to the maintenance of equipment, loads and tools
q Assemble and debug electronic devices and circuitry for new products
q Trains and assists lower level electronic technicians
q May perform other related tasks as directed
OTHER DUTIES AND FUNCTIONS:
q Provide assistance to other departments on request
TOOLS USED:
q Test Equipment
q Electrical and electronic schematics, diagrams, manuals and handbooks.
q Standard electronic test equipment (V.O.M., Oscilloscope, D.V.M., etc.). Related
special test equipment.
q Troubleshooting meters, burn-in loads, water cooling manifolds, ATE-Spectrum Analyzer,
RF power meter, PC function generator, and computer.
SKILL REQUIREMENTS
� Two-year degree related to EE/related experience.
� Prior experience in analog testing in RF power supplies
� Electronic diagnostic and repair skills to the component level
� Leadership skills
� Team player
