DESCRIPTION:

 

General hardware (digital and analog) design with an emphasis on digital and microprocessor
design. 

 

EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE:

 

�            MSEE/CS or equivalent experience

�            Minimum 7+ years direct hardware design experience

�            Minimum 7+ years tools experience using FPGA development tools with Verilog HDL. 
Preferred supplemental tools experience with VIEWlogic, PADS PCB, Synplicity and Modelsim

 

RESPONSIBILITIES:

 

�            Microprocessor design with Motorola 68K/683XX, PPCXXX

�            Board level designs including digital and analog subsections using schematic entry
tools

�            CPLD and FPGA logic architecture, design and simulation

�            Initial bench testing of new designs including bread boarding and prototyping

�            Complete documentation throughout design and development

�            Interfacing with Software engineering, RF engineering, Manufacturing/Test, and
System Engineering teams during design and development phase

 

SKILLS:

 

�            Logic
