UtilX Corporation is seeking Inside Sales & Marketing Support. The primary role of the Inside
Sales and Marketing Support is to contact prospective, as well as existing clients, regarding
UtilX� service offerings for the purpose of generating qualified leads for the existing outside
sales force.  

 

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES (Other duties may be assigned)

 

�         Generate new revenue opportunities:

�         Probe prospects to gain better knowledge of there current reliability status.

�         Execute a wide variety of research for new prospects.

�         Complete technology assessment matrix and review with assigned sales manager.

�         Proactively call targeted customers and prospects to gauge interest level on UtilX
product offerings.

�         Respond to inquiries from the web, phone, advertising, trade shows and other
marketing activities:

�         Call prospects to qualify opportunities arising from marketing events. 

�         Document qualified opportunities using customer relationship management software.

�         Coordinate and forward follow-up material to be forwarded to prospects identified by
the direct sales force. 

�         May do periodic customer visits once new accounts are up and running.

�         Promoting offerings to pre-identified prospects or customers:

�         Obtain and distribute current promotional offering from Marketing Manager.

�         Obtain list of qualified customers from sales manager for existing campaign.

�         Contact prospect or customer to qualify interest in current promotion.

 

KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS, AND ABILITIES

 

�         Communication:  Superior verbal and listening skills.  Must be able to read, speak
and write proficiently in English

�         Interpersonal Relations: Maintain a positive and professional demeanor when
communicating and working with clients and colleagues.  

�         Customer Service: Solve customer problems while maintaining positive, professional,
customer-focused attitude. 

�         Organization and Planning:  Ability to be structured and organized when completing
tasks.  Must be detail-oriented, able to multi-task, prioritize work, and have strong
follow-through.

�         Technical: Skill at using a computer and MS office software.  CRM experience
preferred but not required. 

�         Work ethic:  Focused, self-starter who is goal oriented and can relate to a team
environment. 

 

QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

 

�         BS or BA in Engineering, Technical discipline,  Business, Marketing or equivalent

�         Minimum of 2 years inside sales experience with verifiable past success for lead
generation and appointment setting.
