BlueSky Brands, Inc, parent company of leading consumer direct marketers, Paragon Gifts and
Bits and Pieces, is currently looking for a Production Manager to join our team. This position
will be based out of our Allston, MA office and requires a self-motivated, self-starting
individual with a desire to learn and the ability to multi-task.

v 5 years related experience

v Ability to handle multiple projects and meet deadlines as needed.
v Ability to work independently, and take initiative.
v Must be willing to travel, for press �OK�s� and to Westerly, RI.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
Reporting to the Creative Director, the Production Manager will be responsible for managing the
entire cycle of the catalog production process. Specific duties include, but not limited to:
v Full knowledge of Print Production and Color Management.
v Create and maintain annual catalog production schedules
v Coordinating and Assisting at photo shoots and photo styling
v Maintain deadlines throughout catalog production process
v Develop print instructions for each catalog drop for various vendors
v Communicate with vendors and applicable departments details and schedule of jobs
v Work closely with vendors to ensure
v Reconcile invoices - researching, adjusting, coding, keeping current costs updated
v Release of color to pre-press and review of proofs
v Stay updated on changes that may affect the industry
v Coordinate catalog delivery with warehouses - handle internal catalog distribution (office
copies, departmental copies, etc.)
v Going to printer for color �OK�S� on press
v Oversee miscellaneous print projects, e.g., product development, packaging, business cards,
product instructions and labels, ads, etc
v Other applicable tasks to support Manager with above responsibilities
REQUIREMENTS:
v A bachelor�s degree.
v Proficiency in Excel, Quark, Photoshop
v Proof reading skills
