We are seeking a dynamic team player to provide system build and administrative support for
Solaris8, Windows2000, and Linux web-based applications in our ASP environment. Support mission
critical production Unix, Windows, and Linux systems; perform routine system administration
functions including: OS tuning, performance monitoring, security monitoring, and system
upgrades. The Senior SysAdmin is responsible for the installation and implementation of all
systems in our remote data center.Evaluate, recommend, and implement production enhancements
including centralized storage and backup systems.Work with application developers, systems
engineering, and database administrators to assure optimal performance of production
systems.Work with the data center networking and facilities group to resolve network related
issues. Responsible for the installation, configuration, and day-to-day operations of the Web
infrastructure for our platforms, including iPlanet and IIS web servers, BEA Weblogic
Application Server, as well as the full suite of our products in the ASP
environment.Responsible for planning and implementing Security and security audits for Unix and
Windows2000 servers within the Data Center, and the installation and maintenance of digital
certificates for web servers and application servers using Verisign and Entrust certificate
authority.Act as a mentor for more junior level system administrators, also has tier 2 and 3 .
Experience:5 - 7 years experience in the following areas:Sun Solaris and Windows operating
systems; Veritas volume manager experience;WindowsNT/Windows 2000 administration
experience;Experience with UNIX backups - Veritas NetBackup;Experience installing hardware and
operation systems
Have a solid working knowledge of the following products, 
iPlanet, IIS, Apache web server, BEA Weblogic, SSH SSL, SNMP, Sendmail, Oracle and DNS.
