ummary:
The Senior Web Applications Developer is responsible for the University Web server
administration and Web application development and technical support. Other responsibilities
include analyzing and designing tools for Northeastern University�s Enterprise Application
Services Web authoring group, as well as leading the web component of major systems integration
projects. 

Applicants must have a working knowledge of advancements in Web technologies and Web
development tools, and have a demonstrated success in large e-commerce application development
projects.


Position requires the following:
�MUSTS� (position requires the following skills/experience):
� 3-5+ yrs experience with Core Java. Familiar with JDK 1.3 and JDK 1.4
� 3+ yrs exp with JSP, Servlets, JDBC, JNDI (preferably using Websphere Application Server)
� 3+yrs exp with Unix operating system (AIX/Solaris preferred)
� 3+yrs exp with Relational databases (DB2 preferred)
� Experience with Release Management, Version Control Systems (preferably CVS)
� Experience with ANT
� Experience with STRUTS Framework

�PLUSES� (the following skills/experience highly desired):
� Exposure to design methodologies and design patterns
� Working knowledge of UML
� Working knowledge of LDAP
