The Eastern Cooperative Oncology Group (ECOG), one of the largest cancer clinical trial groups
in the United States, is searching for a Director for its Coordinating Center. With a staff of
100, the Coordinating Center provides support in protocol development, quality control and
computerization of data, software development, regulatory compliance and fiscal management. The
Director is responsible for coordinating these activities, setting and implementing priorities
and working with the Group Chair and Group Statistician in exploring new directions. The
position is located in Boston, MA.
The individual should have extensive prior knowledge of the management of clinical trials and
have excellent leadership and communication skills. A background in Oncology and/or Statistics
would be an advantage.
