Senior Chemist / Group Leader


This individual will be responsible for the supervision of the Separations Laboratory, set up
of the QC Methods Development Laboratory, and performing synthesis projects in either
carbohydrate or peptide chemistry. 

Specific responsibilities include: 
� Overseeing and directing group members in the process and completion of synthetic and
separations work 
� Execution of synthesis and separation projects in amino acid, carbohydrate and/or peptide
chemistry involving products labeled with stable isotopes.
� Developing separation and analytical methods for stable isotopically labeled products.

This position requires a PhD in Analytical or Separations Chemistry, or a PhD in Synthetic
Chemistry with an emphasis on separations. Experience in HPLC and ion exchange chromatography,
with a minimum of 3 years of post doc industrial experience, preferably including 2 years of
supervisory experience.
