Position Summary:

Responsible for performing professional mechanical engineering research, design, development, 
modification, and evaluation in support of the company's complex semiconductor capital 
equipment and systems, and their mechanical components. Determine design approaches and 
parameters. Review and evaluate designs or processes. Generate or direct layout/design 
activities and verify accuracy of final documentation. Analyze and select components and 
equipment, as well as evaluate supplier capabilities. Design and conduct independent 
experiments or tests. Define problems and objectives, develop approach, analyze results and 
provide recommendations. Direct implementation of required changes or modifications, Plan, 
conduct, and technically direct moderately complex projects. Write and analyze Action 
Requests/Equipment Change Notices.

Position Qualifications

Minimum Education:
BS/MSME or equivalent required.

Minimum Experience:
5 + Years applicable experience. Previous experience in the Semiconductor equipment industry
preferred.
