Position Summary:
-Product line design responsibility including new product development and existing product line
maintenance.
-Work effectively with customers, field sales personnel, engineering peers, internal support
departments adn suppliers.
-Product costing and estimating.
-Coordinate product prototyping, testing and validation.
-Resolve and respond to internal manufacturing problems with customers and non-conforming
product.

Essential Functions:
-Conduct product training for customers, field sales and internal departments when necessary.
-Assist in development of catalogs and marketing literature.
-Assist with assembly and test of prototype products.
-Identify and implement cost reductions.
-Travel to visit customers, suppliers, trade shows, etc.
-Follow through on product ramp-up and production issues.
-Support ongoing production in the plant/facility.

Qualifications:
-BSME
-4 years of product design and development experience.
-Proficient in AutoCad, Inventor 3D, and Microsoft office applications.
-Excellent oral and written communication skills.
-General knowledge of manufacturing processes and capabilities.
-Demonstrated ability to successfully complete projects and work in a team environment.

Additional Qualifications:

-Experience in any of the following areas desireable: welding, turning, machining, milling, and
assembly.
