Primary responsibilities of this position include application design, development, enhancement
and support using VB.Net, SQL Server, and PowerBuilder to accomplish client system
implementations, enhancements and maintenance. This position will perform analysis, design,
programming, testing, and basic project management activities. 

Duties will include:

Assess requirements from business and/or client personnel to ensure they are thorough and
accurate

Analysis of requirements to produce timely and cost effective solutions

Database and application design

Root cause analysis and issue/problem resolution 

Develop Client/Server and Web applications that conform to company standards

Unit and system test all development and enhancement work to ensure quality

Create/update documentation for all work performed

Qualifications include: 

Degree from a College, Accredited Technical Institution or equivalent work experience 

Minimum of 5 years IT experience with 2+ years of VB.Net experience 

VB.Net, ASP.Net, PowerBuilder v 6.5 and SQL Server experience is required 

Sybase experience is strongly desired 

Knowledge of VBA is a plus 

Understanding of Client/Server (N-Tier) and Web Development 

Understanding of Relational Database Development on SQL Server 

Experience developing system documentation and workflow diagrams 

Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to constructively interface with management
and user personnel 

Very good understanding of Project Management and Software Development Life Cycle
