WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

 

Minimum of 3 years sales experience sales/marketing or media planning or buying

Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Solid product and advertising knowledge is beneficial.

Exceptional sales and negotiation skills.

Strong organizational and time management skills.

Excellent interpersonal and communications skills.

Ability to work well independently.

Requires valid driver's license and good driving record.

 

WHAT ARE THE RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE POSITION?

 

The successful candidate will work with existing and prospective advertisers and advertising
agencies to develop advertising strategies and sources of new business. The Key Account Sales
Representative will be responsible for the building and execution of an effective advertising
sales plan to achieve maximum production and profit goals in assigned territory.  

 

This will be accomplished through: 

 

Personal meetings and telephone contact with advertisers.

Meeting or exceeding sales objectives in growth, and a mix of business and renewal retention on
assigned accounts.

Management of the accounts through new appointments, advertising agency prospecting and use of
client presentations and proposals.

Maintain a current knowledge of target accounts, including current advertising and nature of
target accounts business.

Maintain sales administration responsibilities through timely reporting and expense
management.
