Sr. Project Engineer, Commercial/Industrial

TRION, INC., a worldwide market leader in the design, development and manufacture of indoor air
quality (IAQ) products, based in Sanford, NC and a subsidiary of Fedders Corporation, a
publicly-traded manufacturer of products for the treatment of indoor air and thermal
technologies, is seeking a dynamic, high-energy individual to join our Engineering Department
in Sanford, NC.

The Sr. Project Engineer, Commercial/Industrial is responsible for research, development, and
design of new models, mechanisms, electrical circuits, and existing design adaptations for
specific air cleaner applications. 

The successful candidate must possess a B.S. degree in Engineering (mechanical preferred). A
minimum of 7 years product design engineering experience or an associate�s degree in
engineering discipline with a minimum of 10 years practical experience in design engineering or
equivalent of 15+ years industry experience. 
Technical experience preferred to be in HVAC, air filtration, aerosol technology, and
electrostatic precipitation areas. Broad knowledge of associated disciplines (pneumatics,
hydraulics, mechanics, dynamics, electronics, etc.). Knowledge of all aspects of company
operation including sales, cost accounting, production control, purchasing, manufacturing
methods, quality control and service engineering. Computer skills required for this position
include Microsoft Word, Microsoft Excel, E-Mail and AutoCAD.
