Position Title: SAP Basis System Administrator

Summary/Description: 
Installs new software releases and system upgrades. Evaluates and installs software patches and
resolves software related problems with assistance of team tasked with implementing and
maintaining SAP. Automates system backups and tests to insure recoverability. Develops,
implements and maintains security profiles with assistance of team defining business processes
and configuring SAP. Manages the Correction & Transport system. Monitors and performance tunes
the SAP system. Assists analysts and developers with assessments of technical infrastructure of
software products. Must be able to be on call during �non-core� business hours to insure system
availability. 

Requirements: 
Three to five years plus supporting SAP as a BASIS System Administrator.
Experience managing SAP 4.7. 
SAP trained and certified in BASIS system administration.
Participant in all phases of a SAP system life cycle deployment project. 
Good written, verbal communication as well as customer service skills. 
Proven, successful project management skills are required. 
Pharmaceutical or biotechnology industry experience preferred.
Bachelor of Science in computer science, engineering or a related discipline required.
