Since our beginning in 1978, LINCO Research, Inc. has been devoted to developing assays which
meet the needs of scientists working in areas of diabetes and obesity research.  This year is
no different.  We have several new products... unique kits and bioanalytical services not
commercially available elsewhere. 

 

This year LINCO proudly introduced the LINCOplexTM human cytokine kit for simultaneous multi
analyte detection and measurement of 11 cytokines in a single 25 �l sample.  This kit is the
first in the LINCOplexTM line of immunoassay products, designed with Luminex technology and to
be used with Luminex instrumentation.

 

In the coming months, LINCO will introduce a murine cytokine panel and endocrine panels for
diabetes/obesity.  Also, these panels will be expanded as we go forward to provide additional
molecules important to your research needs.

 

LINCO is currently looking for a Research Technologist 

 

     SUMMARY

      Conduct research, analysis and experimentation leading to the development of commercial
immunoassay reagents and products.

 

     ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

Develop new immunoassays (RIA, ELISA, Luminex and other platforms as appropriate) 
Conduct research on manufactured products (assays) to troubleshoot and improve products 
Organize and interpret data, prepare necessary documents and reports, present work in the
departmental and external scientific meetings 
Assist in efficient scale-up and production of new immunoassay reagents and kits 
Develop specifications for products, processes and tests 
Prepare buffers, reagents and other components as necessary 
Assist in answering technical calls when needed 
 

     QUALIFICATIONS

B.S. or M.S. in Biological Sciences 
Protein chemistry techniques and basic principles of immunoassays 
Experience in the development of immunoassay reagents and kits desired.
