For the record Stephanie James-Wilson has shown hereslf to be an independent voice and an education first member of the BOE. The party first team, by endorsing her, was trying to make her beholden to them so she would have to vote with them on party issues. Integrety matters, and she has it. She will not jeopardize her career to make the party first board members happy. She earned our endorsement with her actions and that really messed up the D's plan because she is not beholden to them.Unlike Dr Meloni, Patricia Hinnant has been active in the PTA and has attended BOE meetings for 20 years. She too has integrety and will put education first. Kyle Williams is young and a quick study.Our candidates are not beholden to us and they will not be conflicted when it comes time to vote on BOE matters. AND THAT MATTERS. VOTE 3-4-1
